I love this profession as I’m able to use my accumulated skills and experience to help and serve others.
I earned my Chartered Accountant (CA) designation in 1986 with Thorne Riddell (now KPMG) after receiving my Bachelor of Science degree (Biochemistry) from the University of British Columbia in 1982.
My entrepreneurial dream lead me to owning and running a seafood retail/wholesale/export business in Vancouver for 20 years. After selling the business and travelling for a few years, I happily returned to the Okanagan, my birthplace. This gave me the opportunity to be close and supportive to my parents in their later years. I feel very fortunate to be living in such a beautiful and welcoming community.
Financial Planning is a natural progression and a true purpose for me. Over the years, I’ve updated many of my financial skills including completing the CFP program. I’ve completed the Canadian Securities Course (Honours) and dually licensed as a Mutual Fund Representative and Life Insurance Agent.
My goal is to help you become financially independent and for me to become your trusted advisor.
